We run continuous training programs for our employees in order to keep abreast with the latest technological advancements. Of particular note is the EuroEyes Academy which is unique in Germany and follows educational trends in the USA.  The year long “Refractive Co-ordinator” training program is guided by study and examination material spanning the full breath of refractive surgery, adapted and specialised under the tutelage our medical director Dr. Jörn Jörgensen and Priv.-Doz. Dr. R.-C. Lerche. Our surgeons and ophthalmologists also take part in continuous education on a national and international level, attending international symposia and congresses as recognised specialists in their area of refractive surgery as well as being the authors of numerous scientific publications.

Several of our ophthalmologists work closely with the German Commission for Refractive Surgery (Deutschen Kommission für Refraktive Chirurgie), involved in the education and training of ophthalmologists and surgeons in the field of refractive surgery. The high level of expertise of our entire team is one of the reasons why the EuroEyes Clinic Group has the most clinics in Germany to possess the well respected “LASIK – TUV” certification.
