1. ISO 9001 certification and quality assurance:
   EuroEyes Clinics are certified according to ISO 9001 standards. All steps and measures from hygiene during the surgical procedure and patient accompaniment through to pre and postoperative patient care are carefully analysed and described. A decade of experience in eye surgery with more than 60.000 completed eye operations provides the patient with maximal quality assurance. All EuroEyes Clinics are state licensed (§30 GWO) such that it is possible for stationary patients to be admitted and medically cared for should it be indicated or medically necessary.
2. Scientific analysis and result optimisation:
   EuroEyes has performed a very high number of laser surgeries in Germany with more than 50.000 refractive procedures. The results of the surgeries are analysed and evaluated within the EuroEyes Clinics. Postoperative results can be compared since all EuroEyes Clinics are linked to one another. This offers continuous optimisation of results and guarantees first class quality assurance. Particularly in the area of Custom LASIK, this scientific analysis has resulted in EuroEyes having performed the most wavefront laser procedures in Europe. Several Eye Laser Centres of EuroEyes Clinics (Berlin, Hamburg & Leipzig) are members of the VSDAR (Association of Special Clinics in Germany for Eye Laser and Refractive Surgery).
3. Minimising complications:
   As opposed to other laser centres where often many eye surgeons perform only few operations, EuroEyes employs only “high volume surgeons” who have already performed thousands of surgeries independently. Combined with a complete and thorough preliminary examination and consultation, this leads to fewer complications since our doctors have vast experience to draw upon.
4. Newest laser technology:
   EuroEyes Clinics were the first eye laser centres in Germany to routinely apply the IntraLase laser to refractive surgery. IntraLase LASIK is a further development in terms of safety, surgical quality and decreased risk for the patient.

   EuroEyes continues to invest in the best instrumentation in order to stay at the forefront of laser technology. We have the newest eye lasers at our disposal such as Bausch & Lomb’s 217 Z 100 as well the 400Hz Wavelight laser system. Our lasers are continuously and regularly serviced and maintained to keep them in perfect working condition in order to achieve optimal quality assurance.

The Goal: Quality of Vision

EuroEyes primary goal is not only to correct refractive errors, but also to improve quality of vision in general. Quality of vision refers to the reduction of aberrations (irregularities in the cornea) that are responsible for glare, reduced contrast sensitivity and poor night vision. These aberrations in the cornea can be diagnosed with the latest instruments and treated by Custom LASIK surgery. Custom LASIK provides the eye surgeon with all the optical information of a patient’s eye in order to make individualised LASIK surgery possible. EuroEyes Clinics presently have the most experience in Custom LASIK treatments in Europe.
